Love moves in mysterious ways, the song goes. I say, it is mystical since nobody has successfully discover its essence and concretely explain its existence. It is irrational; it simply does not care about what is sensible. Physical Transcendence, the philosophers would describe it. However, to contain this unfathomable concept, (history tells us that) there are ways by which man has able to describe / criticize it – via irrational and rational methods. The epic novels containing literal descriptions of the greatest love stories of all time would represent the irrational methods. The Twilight Saga is a contemporary example. I cannot stand reading the book because of too much irrationalities.

The rational method would be represented by scientists, philosophers or even a Supreme Court Magistrate quoting Blaise Paschal: Love has its reason which reason itself cannot reason. I think the definition is circular and does not make sense at all. However, we still take refuge on this senselessness because it is the only way to define the undefinable.
There is a third method – the practical approach which is another way of rationalizing love and the real physical relationship as it’s effect. The practical method can be embodied in the following prepositions –
Preposition A: Gorgeous and Gorgeous = Justice
Preposition B: Gorgeous and Ugly = True Love
Preposition C: Ugly and Ugly = Charity
Note: It is curious and funny that True Love resides in Proposition B. Let’s experiment.
Examples of Preposition A

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie – Hollywood’s hottest actors and actress were made for each other. Justice served!

David Beckham and Victoria Adams – Soccer Superstar and Posh Spice are perfect for each other!
Commonalities: They have many children. Attraction brought about by beauty is productive. It is nature’s wisdom of procreation.
Examples of Preposition B

Jay-Z and Beyonce – The nerdy-looking rapper is very lucky to have the former Destiny’s Child.

Heidi Klum and Sting – The most beautiful supermodel is a testimony that love is blind.
Commonalities: Despite the proposition that true love resides in this category, the women are practical with their rich partner.
Example of Preposition C

Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles – The former hubby of Lady Diana Spencer pursued his affair with a (living but) less-desirable married woman. I guess he knew where he belonged – Home Sweet Home!
So, why does love reside in Proposition B?
In Proposition A, both gorgeous persons will develop a sense of happiness brought about by justice. Sometimes, this ecstacy or perfection is also called love. It is, however, a sense of contentment that can only be associated with happiness. The couple will never learn to really enjoy each other’s company in difficult times.
In Proposition B, the gorgeous one trancends the physical realm and experiences pure spiritual connection which we can suspect it as love. The ugly one will really never love back the way the gorgeous one is giving because the love is inevitably tied with the admiration the ugly has for the gorgeous one. It will be more of gratitude in case the gorgeous one will turn ugly and the relationship still continues. (see Proposition C) True love resides in the gorgeous who stoops down. It is more of a wish granted for the ugly one who was able to be with someone who belongs to another class.
In Preposition C, gratitude is the effect for each other’s presence and patience. Sometimes, this gratitude for the forgiveness and sacrifice is also called love. These sacrifices can actually be offered for the emancipation of the poor souls in purgatory.
